Review from HR Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I don't know that I necessarily feel undervalued at Sweetwater. I think I am valued, as a person, but I think Sweetwater is notorious for underpaying employees.

Review from HR Dept

Compensation could be better, but it is fair.

Review from Sales Dept

I have been with the company a little over a year and have consistently demonstrated dedication, strong performance, and commitment to my role. However, I have notices that others who joined after me have been promoted, and I was told it was because I didnt constantly remind them.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel like I do a lot of things that are outside of my role because they are the right thing to do, but it isn't always acknowledged. I am not miserable but I think I offer a lot.

Review from Sales Dept

Management gaslights about industry compensations vs other industries. Size and scope of work are not taken into consideration. There needs to be a realignment with what inustries are paying for the same job title and scope of work. promotions and advancement is lacking.

I feel I have earned a significant increase in compensation.

Review from Finance Dept

I wish I was paid more (but so does everyone, right?! :))

Review from HR Dept

I think I'm underpaid for the job I do, as my job has gotten more and more complicated and difficult over the years, but my pay has not increased.

Review from Sales Dept

We do so much for all of the teams within the Sweetwater walls and we get no compensation and when it's mentioned we are blown off and even treated different in a negative manner.

Review from Sales Dept

managers are not invested in their employees growth because Sweetwater does not build managers to be leaders. they give management positions to people who are not meant to lead responsibly and effectively and it will often lead to poor employee moral.

Review from Marketing Dept

Not all employees commission percentage is the same. There is no compensation for time consuming assistance to new sales engineers

Review from Sales Dept

They hired in someone is getting paid more than me that has less qualifications than I do, and they said that.

Review from Admin Dept

Equity across the team. It's known that other folks/peers on the same team can have a $20-30k difference in pay (not including leadership)

Review from HR Dept

Raises are not based on performance and seem to be an arbitrary small number decided by management before you even come in the room for your annual review (which is hardly ever exemplary despite your actual work ethic - just average).

Review from Customer Support Dept

I would feel more valued if my pay was closer to Indiana's median compensation for my position. According to various online research platforms I've investigated with, I am making about half of Indiana's median salary for my current position.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel there is some of work I do for free. Commission Structure could be better

Review from Sales Dept

The new "bonus bux" option doesn't always boil down as it was painted. There are products offering $600-$1000 in bonus bux. Would be better if they were penalized on the front end instead of on the backend. Also, sick days shouldn't count against you with doctors notes.

Review from Sales Dept

I think I do a LOT of work and a lot is expected of me. These expectations have only increased since I started in this role, and my pay has not increased at the same rate.

Review from Sales Dept

Sweetwater needs to adapt to the needs of the modern worker. Having poor PTO, poor work life blend, and no work from home opprotunities does not make the compensation feel fair.

Review from Sales Dept

The base pay is way too low and is on the poverty line
