Been there well over a decade, been passed over multiple times for promotion for friends, family members, employees with less time and experience. Overall, unsatisfactory.

Employees don't care about the job. They're not given a reason to.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Management needs to care about their employees, not clock out after their 8 and tell them to get it done.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
401k match isn't competitive, long term employees aren't appreciated. Employees that have been there a year make exactly the same as employees that have been there 30 years. Seniority and experience mean nothing towards advancement. Family members get preferential treatment.
