Communication - so many things Syntellis tries to do that are good, but bungles it by not explaining what's going to happen before it happens. There's an increasing lack of autonomy that I'm seeing occur due to lack of clarity in strategic goals that are actionable.

we were given like a 3% raise this year. that's just so much lower than i've ever received since starting in the tech field. not even enough to catch up to inflation. no bonuses for everyone either, only high level employees (who already make the most money...) which is another first for me in tech.

I submitted expenses for reimbursement and had to wait 3 months to get them declined. Not only am I working multiple jobs to make ends meet but i also cant get my own money back.

I'm worried that Syntellis will be sold to another company and I'll lose my job

There is a lot of bureaucracy that I've had to deal with. It has made getting things done very hard and time-consuming. The matrix org structure makes it difficult to know who to talk to/when and who has authority. The company strategy is not clear, so individual decision-making is challenging.

Moving back into a larger corporate entity after being a smaller company has reminded me of the bottlenecks and delays in replies when needed.

Priorities change so frequently that it can be hard to feel that we've accomplished much
