Executive Bio

Karen (she/her) has joined Sysdig as Chief Financial Officer and will play an instrumental role in managing the company’s growth and strategy. Karen is an experienced and accomplished executive having served both pre-IPO and public companies. She brings over 20 years of experience across corporate finance, accounting and compliance, and investor relations. She has held executive positions at a wide network of industry leaders including PagerDuty, Uber Technologies, Pandora Media, CBS Interactive and Virgin America.

Throughout her career Karen has scaled finance teams in high growth and global organizations to deliver stakeholder value – most notably at Uber Technologies. She also led early IPO readiness at Uber and Virgin America. Karen has deep experience in M&A having participated in and led many aspects of nearly a dozen transactions including the successful sale of Pandora Media to Sirius XM. Karen has also played a key role in developing strategic positioning having built and led the investor relations function at PagerDuty.

She holds a BA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University. Karen is an executive director of a non-profit board, the Golden West Chapter of the ALS Association.
