Mr. Joseph J. Filippoli, MBA, has been the Chief Information Officer of Tabula Rasa Healthcare, Inc. since June 2014. Mr. Filippoli has been Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at CareKinesis, Inc., since February 2013. Mr. Filippoli is also the founder and President of JF Technology Advisors consulting firm. Mr. Filippoli is a 30-year veteran of the Information Technology industry with a particular focus on leading healthcare technology operations, application development, informatics and technology innovation. Mr. Filippoli's unique and diverse background and technology experience allow him to bridge many facets of information management and healthcare delivery. Mr. Filippoli created and developed the comprehensive technology enterprise for two award-winning, nationally recognized extreme growth companies. He has managed technology departments from inception through sustained expansion and rapid transition while consistently exceeding corporate expectations. He served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Technical Officer at Enclara Pharmacia, Inc. (alternate name, ExcelleRx, Inc.) and served as its Vice President of Information Technology. He served as Head of the Technology Department and Systems Development at Enclara Pharmacia, Inc. since February 2000. Prior to joining excelleRx, he served as a Health Care Information Technology Liaison at Christiana Care Health System. He served as the Director and Chief Architect of Management Information Systems for Delaware Park Casino. He also led the development team and operations for the nationwide lottery systems for Autotote, Inc. Mr. Filippoli was formally educated in technology and data processing in United State Navy where he was responsible for the worldwide military command systems for Joint Operations. Mr. Filippoli is responsible for technical operations and systems development at excelleRx as well as actualizing the corporate vision through technology. He served as the Director of Information Management at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. His responsibilities included developing and delivering advanced analytics, CHOP's first Enterprise Data Warehouse and business and clinical intelligence. Working with senior leadership, Mr. Filippoli played a substantial role in actualizing the vision and strategy towards Personalized Pediatrics and Bioinformatics. He holds an MBA from Drexel University in 2005 with a focus on technology.
