Mr. Gregory Strakosch, also known as Greg, Co-Founded TechTarget, Inc. in September 1999 and served as its Chief Executive Officer from September 1999 to May 9, 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Strakosch served as President of Technology Division at United Communications Group (UCG), a leading business-to-business information provider. He joined UCG in 1992 when it was acquired Reliability Ratings, a successful IT publishing company he founded in 1989. Before Reliability Ratings, Mr. Strakosch spent six years in senior sales and marketing positions at EMC Corporation, which he joined as its 29th employee. Mr. Strakosch has been the Executive Chairman of TechTarget, Inc. since 2007 and served as its Chairman from 2007 to May 9, 2016 and has been its Director September 1999. He serves as a Director of Experience, Inc. Media Business named, Mr. Strakosch a Top Innovator in Business Publishing and was named to the Folio: 40, a list of industry innovators with impact. In 2003, he received the Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year??? Award, having been selected as a Finalist the year before. Mr. Strakosch has a BA from Boston College.
