Leadership Reviews

Not working us to death and actually hire people, not expect the one employee to do the work of 3 people

Being a boss and doing boss thing.

Treating people like they're human beings would be a great start. Also there is zero accountability from management for their own mistakes, instead blaming every issue on employees that barely make enough money to afford rent.

Not using fear and threats to rule. Better life work balance.

Compensation Reviews

to not dictate pay based off of age, but contributions to the newsroom

Yes I feel undervalued. I would feel better with 3 rounds of tequila.

I feel undervalued because I AM undervalued. Paid significantly less than my male counterparts AND paid sognificantly less than people In the same role at other stations in the same market. Non-compete clauses allow them to get away with this. TEGNA likes young cheap labor. No skill necessary.

Never be satisfied with the kffer

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

There is a higher focus on cost cutting than on hiring and paying for quality talent. Everyone worth their salt is driven away.

Management needs an overhaul from the top down.

News bias also exists , THATS the negative

Review from Communications Dept

Want more and more money, people are pawns

Get rid of wasteful management
