What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have nice windows in the building I'm in. Not much culture anymore, just company specific aphorisms and catch phrases.
Tektronix celebrates successes, and at least in the sale organization, they have nice events and outings. I've never heard any name calling or yelling on a meeting like I have at other places. Management encourages people to take their vacation.
The culture is progressive and open to innovation and change
Everyone is in a rather good mood and theres a great place for snacks and coffee refills
Support you receive from senior leadership
My immediate coworkers maintain a culture of kindness and camaraderie. We stubbornly continue with celebrations of one another, seasons and team victories.
Company celebrations, individuals get recognized
Continuous improvement is a way of life
The people here are great. The products are "ok" - I think Tek is riding on their historic reputation rather than their current offerings.
The open communication in both directions
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It is a joke... it seems as if you have to take 7 minutes instead of 5 to use the rest room they're looking for SOME way to recover that time from you.
