Teleport Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

straight forward with the company's values and requirements of the role

how straight forward and honest everyone was about the company and the role itself.

The transparency that everyone showed about the state of the company and what needed to happen to be successful.

The interview process is project based and takes a lot of the pressure off of the candidate than most other interviews I have experienced.

it helped me to understand the culture of the company

Review from Sales Dept

Each step of the process was clearly laid out and the recruiter was very active in guiding along the way.

I was able to meet most of my team during the interview process. I think that was the best part of interviewing here.

You have to talk to a lot of different people.

straight forward for the AE role. Everyone is easy to speak with

What I liked the most was the transparency of the process and of the opportunity. A Lot of information was shared with me from the beginning making it more exciting.

Skills based questions during each of the stages.

The transparency from the leadership team.

Went at a pace that made sense for me (I was a passive candidate).

It was fairly quick and I poke to the right people to make a solid decision.

Review from Sales Dept

The interview is intended to be as consistent as possible to reduce bias

How conversational the calls felt, how they took the time to get to know me and learn about me, how they put the ball in my court and didn't pressure me with making a decision.

The code challenge leads to very objective results.

Feedback on my questions that I sent.

Interview is like real work not hazing. Candidates solve real life problems in a respectful and helpful pairing with a skilled engineer. Even candidates who did not advance let me know they loved the interview process and learned a lot.

Tough but fair. The team wants to ensure there is a good fit in both directions.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

We tend to eliminate anyone who doesn't fit the mold of a few people on the team. There's a presumption that new hires should just be code monkeys with nothing new to contribute.
