Mr. Daniel J. Cancelmi, also known as Dan, has been the Chief Financial Officer at Tenet Healthcare Corp. since September 2012. Mr. Cancelmi oversees the Tenet Healthcare 's finance, accounting, investor relations and related functions. He serves as a Member of the Tenet Executive Leadership Team. He served as Principal Accounting Officer of Tenet Healthcare Corp. since April 2, 2007 and also served as its Controller and Senior Vice President since April 2009. He served as Vice President and Assistant Controller of Tenet Healthcare Corp. since September 1999 until September 2004. He joined Tenet as Chief Financial Officer of Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia in November 1998. Before Tenet, he served as Senior Director of the Allegheny Health, Education and Research Foundation in Pittsburgh. Prior to, he was employed with the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand in Pittsburgh and New York City in various positions for nine years. He has been Director of United Surgical Partners International Inc. since August 28, 2015. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Florida and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cancelmi holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
