Executive Bio
Mr. Jeffrey Koury, also known as Jeff, serves as Chief Executive Officer of Tenet Western Region of Emanuel Medical Center, Inc. Mr. Koury served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Region at Tenet Healthcare Corp. since May 2011. Mr. Koury oversees the strategy development and operations for 12 acute-care hospitals in Southern California, Northern California and Omaha, Neb. He served as Vice President of operations finance for the California region at Tenet Healthcare. Throughout his 25-year tenure at Tenet, he has served in a number of executive and financial positions. For over decade, he has served as the vice president of finance for three Tenet regions. Prior to his regional responsibilities, he served as Chief Financial Officer for three of Tenet's California hospitals. He began his career at Tenet in 1986 as a Senior Internal Auditor. He served as a Director of Emanuel Medical Center, Inc. Mr. Koury holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
