Mr. Manny Linares serves as Chief Executive Officer of Tenet HealthSystem North Shore, Inc. Mr. Linares has been the Chief executive officer at North Shore Medical Center of Tenet Healthcare Corp. since May 5, 2006. Mr. Linares is an accomplished hospital administrator with a comprehensive working knowledge of the marketplace. As Chief Operating Officer at North Shore Medical Center, he was responsible for management of a wide range of departments, including the cancer center, rehab services, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging services, respiratory therapy, marketing, engineering/bio-med, nutrition services, environmental services, communications and security. He was also instrumental in improving overall satisfaction scores for patients, physicians and employees. He also managed the upgrade of the hospital's cancer center to IMRT capability and had a leading role in increasing the volume of outpatient radiation treatment and upgrading clinical systems to improve quality. Prior to joining North Shore, he was Chief Operating Officer at North Ridge Medical Center for 2 years where he managed multiple departments and oversaw all new construction and renovation projects throughout the facility. Before joining NRMC, he served for 12 years at Hialeah Hospital in a progression of roles that included associate administrator, vice president of support services and Director of engineering. Mr. Linares received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in health sciences administration from Florida International University.
