Executive Bio
Mr. Stephen M. Mooney serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Conifer Health Solutions, LLC. Mr. Mooney served as the President of Revenue Cycle Solutions at Conifer Health Solutions, Inc. since its formation in 2008. Mr. Mooney served as Senior Vice President of Patient Financial Services Department of Tenet Healthcare Corp. from March 2006 to 2008. He served as Vice President of PFS since July 2004 and he has established a high-performance culture within PFS. Mr. Mooney joined Tenet in September 1990. He oversees Tenet's revenue cycle activity, including patient account management, government programs, eligibility, third-party and self-pay billing and collections and Tenet's system for managing the charge of hospital services and items. He has also managed the successful consolidation of Tenet Healthcare Corp.'s business offices, which was launched in mid-2003. He served as an Internal Auditor at the Trump Organization. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stockton State College in New Jersey and his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
