Most are from other Txt BU's that only deal with assembly (not fabrication).They fail to understand core vs. context for this work. The facility is a joke

The moral in my department is non-existent and when you have a manager that refuses to participate in team building events because they don't want to "end up getting something stupid because it would piss them off" (exact words), that disparaging attitude carries over to everyone else.

We have people in the department that should not have been hired as they were completely unqualified and they DO NOT show themselves as part of a team at all and try to get others to do their work and abused the remote working as an additional way to not do work. Other teams members are great though

Culture is not the problem, incompetence of our product/process (or lack thereof) at the Director level and thru the CEO is. It is like saying Enron had a culture problem. . . . no, the core business model was flawed, and no amount of 'culture' could save it.

There is little sense of "team" in my current group. Creating an environment where people enjoy working with one another is crucial. There is little that is done from management to address personality differences between team members when such differences occur.
