The Bouqs Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The fact that we don't have to pay into basic insurance plans.

Review from Operations Dept

The PTO and holidays as well as the health care. It's the best I've ever had!!

Review from Operations Dept

the best part of the comp package is the salary

The time off we have for the year.

Base salary and free flowers. Especially when we can send free/discounted flowers to others.

The medical benefits. Dental could be better.

Review from Operations Dept

The health coverage rates are excellent for this sized company. Very excited about the upcoming 401k match.

That benefits are offered that are 100% covered by the company

health insurance is really great!

Great start-up = great equity!

Review from Operations Dept

The best part of my compensation package would be the stock options

Review from Marketing Dept

Competitive Salary with opportunities for growth!

My pay is ok, a bit below market rate

The best part of our compensation package is not having to pay for basic healthcare, as well as having floating holidays.

Review from Marketing Dept

Competitive salary and flexible time off

100% employer paid health/vision/dental premiums for employees.

Flex vacation and free healthcare!

Free Healthcare, Dental and Vision

Review from Operations Dept

Started low, but as we scaled, became more than fair.

There wasn't anything impressive about the compensation package. Benefits are underwhelming and so is the pay for the amount of hours worked

Review from Marketing Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I'm performing job responsibilities well above my title and pay and am consistently told by my manager and team lead that I am doing a great job, but have not received a promotion or even a pay raise since I started at the company. Much of this I've been told is due to review and promotion cycles.

Review from Marketing Dept

Though I've been given a small raise in my couple years here, there isn't clear trajectory for growth, both in title and compensation. My hourly pay is not competitive and well below industry averages.

Review from Marketing Dept

The same/similar positions at other companies pay significantly more.

Been here for more than 2 1/2 years. I have established lot of things here from scratch successfully. Team has grown and I have on boarded and off boarded lot of people, the work and the team I handle, requires lot of attention and mental strength. Comparably there should be more benefits and hike.

Review from Engineering Dept

When jobs are dissolved and absorbed by another, compensation isn't considered.

I have had to fight for every title promotion and compensation increase, and I have never felt that I have been actively promoted or rewarded within this company. My current managers do not actively champion for me internally and they are not actively moving me along a career path.

Review from Marketing Dept

I have had a lot of turn over with my direct supervisor and each time the goal post moves to be promoted. Currently I'm given very little feedback, even when seeking it out. It is disheartening to know of people with my same title that have been in the role less time making more than me.

I want more transparency about the salary range for each rank (manager, director, etc) that was published. This would make sure pay was fair and equitable for all. Also, would love some sort of incentive structure based on quantitative metrics, separate from the review cycle.

Pay is below market based on other offers at the same or lower level

Review from Operations Dept

Industry-wide averages for yearly salary do not encompass everything I do in this role. I definitely have blurred lines in terms of expectations/work which make me feel like I am paid below the average employee in my position.

Higher compensation for the amount of work/hours expected.
