What part of The Fresh Market's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?

None is growing fast; all is having difficulties.
What do people at The Fresh Market think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
Which CEO? We've changed CEO four times in three years. CEOs aren't around long enough to have an opinion on them.
How's the work life balance at The Fresh Market?
Top Employee Response
This is one of the better aspects of the job - there is a lot of flexibility in schedules.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at The Fresh Market?
In the corporate office, there's a level of apathy that's tangible as soon as you walk in the door. The attitude of "it's someone else's problem" is, in my opinion, the reason the company is failing. The corporate office is resistant to change and new ideas. The same issues are, year over year, the same issues because no one cares enough to change or try to make a difference. The idea that "this is the way it has always been done" is king. Communication is poor, managerial support is poor, and people are, at the end of the day, extremely lazy. A weak corporate office will always result in a weak store front.
