Bryan J. Salvatore — Executive VP & President - Specialty at The Hanover Insurance Group

Mr. Bryan J. Salvatore has been Executive Vice President and President of Specialty at The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. since June 12, 2017. Mr. Salvatore served as the Head of Specialty Products at Zurich American Insurance Company from October 1, 2012 to May 29, 2017. Mr. Salvatore joined Zurich in 1997 to lead Zurich North America's Specialties Field Operations and Marketing group. Mr. Salvatore began his career in the insurance industry at Frank Crystal & Co., Inc. in New York, where he was a Director of The Programs Area. In 2007, he turned his focus to Accident & Health, where he continued to expand Zurich's book of business through expanded product offerings, the creation of new strategic relationships and improvements in servicing and tiered underwriting. He also leads Zurich's charitable giving and volunteerism efforts with The American Red Cross, one of Zurich's core charities. Mr. Salvatore served as the Chairman of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society. Mr. Salvatore is a highly experienced, accomplished senior executive and leader with 25 years of experience in the specialty business. He is a graduate of Fairfield University and earned an M.B.A. Fordham University.
