Mr. Mark Holifield has been an Executive Vice President of Supply Chain and Product Development at The Home Depot, Inc. since February 2014. Mr. Holifield served as Senior Vice President of supply chain at The Home Depot, Inc. since July 2006 until February 2014. He served as an Executive Vice President of Supply Chain at Office Depot Inc., from September 29, 2003 to June 21, 2006. Mr. Holifield is responsible for the Home Depot Inc.'s retail logistics, import and domestic distribution, delivery, transportation and inventory planning and replenishment operations. Mr. Holifield is a well-known and highly respected supply chain executive with more than 29 years of experience in fast-paced, high volume retail supply chain management, transportation and logistics operations. During his 12 years at Office Depot, Inc., he held various roles of increasing responsibility, including senior vice president and vice president supply chain management, vice president, transportation and logistics and director, traffic and transportation. Mr. Holifield was the architect that led the transformation of the Office Depot, Inc. merchandising systems platform. Mr. Holifield joined Office Depot in 1994 as Director of Transportation and subsequently progressed through positions of responsibility in the supply chain area, including distribution operations, supply chain development and inventory management and replenishment. He was promoted to Senior Vice President, Supply Chain in 1997 and most recently was named Executive Vice President, Supply Chain, with responsibility for all Distribution, Transportation, Inventory Management and Supply Chain Development activities in North America. During his 12 years at Office Depot, Inc., he held various roles of increasing responsibility, including senior vice president and vice president supply chain management, vice president transportation and logistics and director traffic and transportation. He was the architect that led the transformation of the Office Depot, Inc. merchandising systems platform. Prior to joining Office Depot, he served as Director of Consulting Projects at Dallas Systems Corporation, a supply chain execution systems provider. He began his retail distribution career in 1977 with H-E-Butt Grocery Company and subsequently worked in logistics with Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo. Mr. Holifield holds an MBA from Baylor University and a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
