What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Acting in clients best interest, rather than self interest
Improve portfolio and program-level planning. Remove us versus you mentality between IT and Business teams. Improve collaboration across the business units by working on serving the true end customers (investors). Properly define products and improve involvement of product management Agile Coaches.
Leadership needs to share the wealth with everyone, not just the managers.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Comp structure punishes loyalty. If you join company in entry level and work your way up over the years, you will be living check to check. External hires will begin at 30-40k more for same job. Pay needs to reward loyalty if anything. Market adjustments to reflect industry. CIL adjusments!!!!!!!!!!
They tell you it’s a 37.5 hour work week but you are given 50 hours at least and many work on weekends to catch up. A lot of admin tasks that high end communicators should not be doing. Completely different skill se
Most compensation is tied to bonuses that are tied to results that I have no control over.
I know just as much if not more then the people I graduated with. And according to them we are doing the same kind of work: building API's, writing business logic, manipulating/storing/retrieving data. Yet they are being paid almost double what I am.

Do more team stuff together
You have people who complain and get their workload pushed off to other lower level associates and those lower level associates aren't recognized, awarded, or promoted for taking on additional work.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Start listening to your employees. Reward and promote people who want to change the status quo instead of pushing them out.
Too much talk about NWoW but management is focused on old way of doing business. Senior management must adopt Agile culture and focus on core business than look good culture.

What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked the hiring manager but unfortunately, he left the team shortly after I joined.

I didn't like the process. It was three back-to-back interviews and then a tour. It was a four hour process.
