The culture here is great! Walsh hires great staff which builds camaraderie at work. We definitely work hard, play hard here at Walsh. There are many ways to be involved with the company whether volunteering, playing basketball at lunch, softball after work, joining a committee to improve processes. It's a family owned company where you can feel at home.
Stop looking for some to blame, give people the tools to be successful. Stop using subpar subcontractors just because they are cheap
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation at The Walsh Group?
I don't know that there will ever be a time where anyone thinks they are paid enough based on the hours they put in. I believe that the effort I put forth doesn't go unnoticed. I also tend to take every one of my vacation days as we all should, and that has never been an issue for me personally. Hours can be long during certain times on projects, but that is more of an industry trend than a company trend.
