Co-workers are intelligent but often make mistakes due to the overwhelming amount of tasks given to each employee.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
At Timken all employees are nothing but a number. Every single person is under paid and over worked.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Instead of our managers acting like they care about EBIT margins, they need to perform like they care about EBIT margins.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Most work days are set up for my department to fail. Improving or receiving quality quotes in a timely manner needs to happen in order to price & create products more efficiently.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Need to improve their decision making capabilities. They often cause unneeded issues because they refuse to listen to employees. They also make decisions without looking into all possibilities where problems might occur. There is a lack of communication at this company.
