What do you like best about the leadership team?
Experienced, empathetic, smart, they roll up their sleeves.
My direct manager is fabulous, they are supportive and do what they can to shield us from the corporate bs.
They are committed to our mission
They listen to all employees and care about the success of them. They also are willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved to make things work right.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Unlimited PTO is a great benefit.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The responsibility that is expected of me is too much for one staff. The non-pay benefits are also sub-par compared to similar jobs in the industry locally.
It's partially my fault because I accept as a position far lower than what I was qualified and experienced to be paid but I had hopes that once I was in and the company recognize my experience I would be compensated accordingly
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a wonderful team dynamic locally, and are all very invested in helping our clients and their cause. We are all social justice minded people, we all enjoy many laughs together.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
There is no I in team and I felt very isolated
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Trying to promote more accountability within teams and a culture of doing right by our customers

I feel like the culture is one of hard work that is rewarded and recognized.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Stop treating clients like they're a process and treat employees as if they're worth some thing
What did you like most about the interview process?
At the time it was straightforward. I had a phone interview after submitting an email resume, followed by in person interview with a panel of staff and managers.
Very responsive and high touch, highly involved HR and Hiring Managers
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
The recruiter did not communicate accurately and ultimately told me I was not LeBron James quality
What makes you most happy at work?
When we make lives easier for our customers
Being able to reach our goals in a shared success environment.
Opportunity to take ownership over my work, very little micromanagement
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We no longer have enough staff to support our clients, improve the product and keep staff from burning out.
Treating clients with top notch customer service making sure their goals and needs are met
