Transamerica Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The variable pay compensation is great

Offers Pension and 401k plans

Everyone has a base commission of 35%, you can increase that percentage by building a team and getting promoted to more senior titles, which have contracts with higher base commission

I make very good money

Earning porential is better than other jobs in the same industry

I have a generous amount of paid time off and the flexability to use it.

Review from Operations Dept

Hourly compensation which pays extra for over time

Review from Operations Dept

The company shares some of the load of providing benefits for the employee and their family so that it is very affordable

Review from Customer Support Dept

great very nice and easy to get

Review from Customer Support Dept

Not only is the pay fair, but the extra benefits (paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, paid time off for volunteering) are wonderful.

Review from Operations Dept

The best part about my compensation is my base salary.

Review from Legal Dept

Compensation is reviewed annually with our performance reviews

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Benefits are mediocre/poor and base pay is lower than many other companies of similar size in Denver.

I feel lied to and for the compensation, i would feel bad knowing what i know now to even offer anyone your services.

Health insurance is terrible - high deductible and huge co-pays. Bonuses never pay at 100%, even when company is doing great.

Stock price has bottomed out and valueless

Better pay. Way better health insurance

Review from Operations Dept

I haven't had a raise in 3 years and the new bonus structure pits co-workers against each other to fight for the same piece of money.

Review from Legal Dept

The bonus structure pits peer against peer for higher percentages of a pool for annual bonus
