Prior to joining HealthMEDX, he held a number of executive positions at McKesson Provider Technologies, including Senior Vice President, Product Management and Marketing since July 2007 until December 2011, Vice President, Physician Solutions since January 2005 until June 2007; Division Vice President of Sales, Clinical and Imaging Solutions since January 2004 until December 2005; and Clinical Solution Specialist since December 2001 until December 2003. He has dedicated more than 20 years to the healthcare IT market place with a heavy emphasis on clinical solutions. Mr. McCarthy has a varied background with executive leadership positions in software implementations, sales, marketing, product management and operations.
