What do you like best about the leadership team?
Its a pleasure to get up and go to work everyday with my leadership team. They stand by you and stand up for you through these adverse times. No place I'd rather be, nobody I'd rather work for
Approachable, collaborative, strong business knowledge
Personable. Focused on work-life balance. Supportive and wants to see me grow and develop. Giving me opportunities to be developed into a leadership role and being part of the succession plan.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Making opportunities available to all employees not just a select few as it shows favoritism when certain teams get the pick of projects and constantly get recognition. They also need to work on their own claim knowledge as they are out of touch with claims and current trends.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The benefits package is very good.

They are continually finding ways to support their employees and realize that needs are constantly changing. The most recent change was contributing to the employees retirement when they were making student loan payments
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better bonuses in profitable years
There are people with less experience who make more than I do. There are too many lateral moves versus promotions.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a great group and all are team players

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Treat others as you expect to be treated
My team is knowledgeable and effective. We all work hard on our claims and seek out more claim knowledge.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
When the white higher ups leave early and you don't feel tension any more for that day

Friendly and collaborative and team oriented
We are not micromanage depending on your supervisor. It is starting to creep in though as some managers leave and new procedures are put in place. If you are going to pay someone over $65-70k+ a year, you don't need to stand over them to watch their desk.

My coworkers, leaders and working with agents
Being challenged and adding value
Growth opportunities. Being developed and having opportunities to develop those coming up behind me. The opportunities to speak candidly to senior leadership about workflows and efficiencies. Of them trusting my input
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We are behind the times in claims technology and systems technology. Alot of processes are arduous and cumbersome to complete. Something as simple as sending a check manually Fed Ex requires a 10 step procedure. We just started using EFT for payments and Docusign.
