Mr. D. Stephen Menzies, also known as Steve, has been Senior Vice President of Trinity Industries Inc. since May 15, 2006 and serves as its Group President for TrinityRail. Mr. Menzies joined Trinity Industries Inc. in November 2001 as President of Trinity Industries Leasing Company following Trinitys acquisition of Transport Capital, LLC., where he was majority owner and was President from December 1999. He has been involved in the equipment leasing industry for over 20 years. Prior to Transport Capital, he joined Newcourt Credit Group in 1996 as the Managing Director of the Rail Finance Group. Prior to Newcourt, he was Senior Vice President - Global Business for the railcar leasing subsidiary of GATX Corporation. Mr. Menzies received an MA in finance from the University of Alabama in 1979 and a BBS from Tulane University in 1977.
