What do you like best about the leadership team?
Well the team that come from out of town is great. The team of managers at 650 just started. The material is never there they keep dulplicated the paper work daliy this is very cofusing

Our manager makes it worth coming to work
The production managers that work with me all day they are absolutely great
They aren't just leaders, they're fellow workers, they grab a saw or a nail gun and help build right next to you.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Better morals with general managers.
Sometimes they go against the grain by trying to take the reigns an control the output by over delegating
Get people who were actual builders and actually know the company to run it. Not half assed quacks to act like they do.
Communication and respect and a little bit of pride to come to work

Owning up to their own mistakes learn how to speak to employees and supplies and equipment need fixed. And a proper chain of command.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Commission plus hourly rate plus milage!
The bonuses make things pretty good

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It's hard to live biweekly
Pay market value at least
They kept adding things that the salespeople didn't want to do to things that weren't in the description of other's job description.
Stop paying employees 4.5% of sales AFTER paying Home Depot 16.5%. That is a crazy way to do business.
Worked nearly 400 hours in one month and they told me they it was my fault. That I was distracted from my job, but if I hadn't done that. Buildings wouldn't have gone out.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My co workers where the best thing
Supervisor is awesome and is very knowledgeable, the crew works really well together
Our team had Commeradarie, dealing with mgmt

For a group with large lamguage barriers, we all manage to communicate effectively. Huge credit to them
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
communication, helpfulness, doing things reuired by them instead of pushing things off on others that they did not want to do which essentially took that indvidual's time to finish the items they needed to complete
They hire anyone with a heartbeat. Then fire someone for doing something stupid, and wait a month or 2 just to hire them back to do the same thing. They just need to work and not disappear to go play on their phone and get high. Not showing up to work high would be a plus.
yes there could be more communication though

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Lumber everywhere plastic straps all over the place slippery when wet
Very respectful and everyone tries to work together
Nobody breathes down your neck about timed projects. Any mistakes are spoken about and handled without shaming me or otherwise going out of the way to make me look the fool; immense credit to the supervisor

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
You need to change what you want you do
For my shop supervisor to be allowed to run a shop. GM and PM always full of negativity quick to shut anybody down. Also very quick to pass the blame.
Get new management and better training
The surprises the people running it in St.louis they dont know how to run it

How easy it is for people to apply
Admittedly, post-interview, I see that the truth was severely stretched about my chances of advancement or increased pay. It's frustrating that the interview process wasn't more accurate/truthful
Very open and fun, wasn't a nervous situation.
You meet and talk with the second top guy before meeting anybody else

Them hiring crews that know how to build a prefab kit

Treat all your people and contractors the same and have the same expectation for each

Everything! Theres no organization. The buildings get built day of purchase which drives the employees to the ground
