I enjoy my job, and we are serving an important purpose; however, the current management team leaves a lot to be desired, and is a big reason for low morale and negativity in the workplace.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The manager at the time was a fantastic person, very thorough and fair.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to actually do their jobs, and to be there for their employees.
What makes you most happy at work?
The environment and surroundings. At least it's not a big box chain, and we actually do some good.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My co-workers are a good group of people for the most part, and we do very well working as a team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We work in very beautiful and interesting settings, and get to meet and interact with people from all over the world. We are also very environmentally conscious.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I never receive any positive feedback for all the hard work I do. I've worked here over 8 years, and have always given my absolute best. I have been passed over for promotions because they wanted someone younger, even though I have a much better work ethic. No appreciation!
