U.S. Legal Support Compensation Employee Reviews | Comparably
U.S. Legal Support Claimed Company
U.S. Legal Support was founded in 1996 based on a single, somewhat audacious goal: become the first nationwide, all-inclusive litigation support company. Over two decades later, we have over 1,000 employees, a network of nearly 5,000 independent court reporting professionals and can provide on-demand access to more than 12,000 offices in over 2,700 cities across the country. We cover more than 350,000 depositions each year and retrieve more than 400,000 records. To date, we’ve acquired over 25 companies — 15 in a 3-year period alone. In light of those accomplishments, below is what we’d say about our original goal. read more

Review from Product Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Undervalued from a salary perspective, but valued from the team.

Review from Operations Dept

Although I love what I do, I am undercompensated for the role I am in. When an employee works tirelessly with determination and drive, and exceeds expectations on a consistent basis, they should be recognized for those efforts and compensated accordingly.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel my leadership team values me. I do feel the company as a whole does undervalue operations vs Sales. I would like to see ops leadership to have yearly meetings. It would be nice to meet in person some of the people we have worked with day in and out the last couple years since we centralized.

Review from Operations Dept

Constantly making cuts and letting employees go who are perceived to have more knowledge and value than others. This Company asks for corporate culture but wants to present small mom-and-pop experiences to clients. Both do not work.

Review from Operations Dept

wages are not adequate versus the workload, responsibility and tenure

Review from Operations Dept

Th company does not appear to appreciate the people who come in every day and do the best possible job. They over work the good workers and allow the poor workers to slide through. Most of the recognition set up is simply a popularity contest; when you allow employees to vote, that is what you get.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel somewhat valued but just not heard. A higher compensation is always welcome.

Review from Operations Dept

I work very hard to attain my Goals for the dept. every week and I take extra effort to Finish my Job in a timely manner so i can assist in other Departments .

Review from Legal Dept

The company struggles every year to provide low end employees raises and we only hear high end promotions.

Review from Admin Dept

When I got pormoted I was promised a raise and didn't receive one because my leader left the company. Years later I was given a raise after I spoke up about how I felt. However, I don't think I am being compensated fairly and I should have a higher salary.

Review from Admin Dept

I feel like the communication from the higher ups is rarely brought down to the team and only directors know what is happening. Since we are salaried there is no benefits/perks given at least on my end. We still have to use PTO and there is no bonuses as initially stated.

Review from Operations Dept

I am hoping that the company would do bonus's this was the first year we received one and would hope that every quarter, if we meet our goals, Managers should receive small bonus's to help us stay motivated and keeping up with cost of living as we all struggle financially one way or another.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation is below market or on the lower end. From what I've seen, this is a reason why people leave. Management, coworkers, and company environment is good. Leadership is also engaged. I would encourage periodic salary review to make sure salary in line with the market.

Review from Finance Dept

Employee Bonus Plan. Not sure why only certain department manager receive or are eligible for bonuses but not all.

Review from Operations Dept

I would like to be paid for the number of hours I work.

Review from Operations Dept

Merits are minimal and does not help with the cost of living continuously rising. Good and loyal employees are eventually going to look for work with other companies that pay better.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Pay raise and equal treatment

Review from Customer Support Dept

I've been in this industry for over 12 years and requested what the average person with my experience should receive and it was denied. On top of that, salary workers received below-average merit increases. However, I LOVE what I do and the people I work with but I'm not receiving what I deserve.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Higher compensation to reflect skill set

Review from Customer Success Dept

Yes - I am not paid for the value that I bring to my team. I do the work of a supervisor (and sometimes a manager) but I am paid less than many on my team that do not do this (extra) work that I do.
