Although UCDH is doing well financially, the weight of the UC System eliminated raises this year - having been historically underpaid against the market - this just widens the gap

Regular review of position against market with adjustments, the organization is reactive in this area and would almost pay me more if I left and reapplied for my position.

I don’t like the way the unions negotiate our raises. I think raises should be based on performance not just it’s been 2 years so here’s an extra 3%.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

A lot of people are so overwhelmed with work they tend to kee their heads down and are less inclined to help each other

Continuity in plan and leadership, communication, consistent vision and adoption - engagement at all levels.

A lot. People say they know you are overworked but then they deny your request for additional staff and then drop off a few more projects for you to tackle.
