Ms. Gayle Q. Adams has been a Senior Vice President of Group Retiree Services for UnitedHealth Group in the Ovations business segment since September 17, 2007. Ms. Adams served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lovelace Health Plan and Lovelace Insurance Co. (Lovelace Health Plan) of Lovelace Health Systems, Inc. from 1998 to August 17, 2007. Ms. Adams was responsible for operational and financial management of the health plan, with Lovelace which includes a diverse line of products such as Individual Plan, HMO, Senior Plan and Medicaid Salud! among others. Ms. Adams had been a valued leader of Lovelace Health Plan since 1995. She served as Vice President of Sales for CIGNA through its transition to Lovelace Health Plan since 1995. Throughout her executive career, she has worked to build a strong and profitable business while expanding the diversity of health-care products for consumers. She had been a tireless leader for Lovelace Health Plan and is respected throughout New Mexico for her knowledge within the insurance industry. During her tenure, she has grown Lovelace Health Plan developing new products, services and programs. She holds Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University.
