Ms. Wendy Arnone has been Chief Executive Officer of West Region at UnitedHealth Group Incorporated since June 2014. Ms. Arnone has been the Chief Executive Officer of Unitedhealth Group Inc - West Region since June 2014. Ms. Arnone oversees health plan operations in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Ms. Arnone served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of UnitedHealthcare of Wisconsin, Inc., a subsidiary of Minnetonka, Minn.-based UnitedHealth Group Inc. Ms. Arnone is a veteran of nearly 20 years in the health care industry. In her new role, Ms. Arnone is responsible for strategic initiatives and business operations including sales, marketing, medical programs, community relations, product and network management and finance for UnitedHealthcare's operations throughout Wisconsin. Ms. Arnone served as Health Plan Vice President of Network Management for Excellus BlueCross BlueShield in Syracuse, N.Y., where she was responsible for provider contracting strategy and implementation for 2 million members. She held previous management positions with HealthNow and Aetna in New York.
