I liked the patience, and mentoring of my business unit leadership. They were all approachable and looking to be part of the solution.

Transparent and takes time to address employee questions

They are down to earth.

They're doing a pretty good job

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Growing company that needs structure at the highest levels of management and administration. Response to employee related issues could use a more concerted effort to resolve.

Nothing fairness career development team development

The CEO needs to be hands on first, as he is the one that can connect the dots. Without that, every team tries to cannibalize and makes the company look bad — that is how poor execution is defined.

Review from Engineering Dept

Communication and coordination. There is a lack of strong engineering leadership within the company, resulting in an excessive amount of politics within the engineering orgs, as teams lie about technical limitations and/or issues in order to gain power.

The fixed salary is competitive.

Review from Engineering Dept

I like the wellness benefit, but more money (or more RSUs) wouldn't go amiss

A big positive is the stock programs that award achievement and that you can contribute to monetarily.

Unity stock ia a great deal and will be increasing in value.

The salary and RSUs exceed my expectations.

Work more efficiently instead of separately sometimes. The messaging between each other is not the greatest.

Not be threatened by new things.

Review from Engineering Dept

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

The people make it great

Acknowledging psychological safety is a company value

Not that much paperwork, lots of room for innovation.

Review from Engineering Dept

Generally, there is a positive attitude about what we are building and can accomplish together as a company.

A lot of benefits that help comfortably.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

A more relaxed atmosphere where you can relax during off times and able to take nice breaks.

Less hostility and politicking. Each team should have a clear mandate. The lack of clarity results in internal confusion, which some exploit to try and gain more power.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

I had an other offer on the table and the recruiter worked to try to make the process as fast as possible so I would be able to have the Unity offer before I had to make the final decision

The interview was relevant to the role. The questions asked and technical assessments were directly relevant and the people facilitating the interview from the recruiter, coordinator and interview panel were all very professional and responsive.

Repevant and was not too drawn out (2 interviews)

The technical project I had to hand over

Review from Engineering Dept

It's thorough. You need to be prepared. You will interview many people.

I like working with our customer ecosystem. I'm in sales. I like getting up early and getting into the business. I get to help bring ideas to reality and solve problems and that is never boring.

Getting to meet a lot of people who i can solve their problems with Unity.

I get to work for a world-class business in an industry that I am well versed in.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

Constant infighting and nitpicking over meaningless things. People need to be energized to build new things rather than attack each other.
