Upland Software Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Base pay was good. Benefits were ok. No 401k match which was a big letdown.

Good salary for my country, and simple weekly payments.

Review from IT Dept

There are no parts, I am a contractor and get paid a flat hourly rate for number of hours I work each week

Review from IT Dept

Package is decent and I am good with it

Review from IT Dept

No Comp. package nor bonuses for Crossover Independent Contractors

Review from Operations Dept

My salary is ok, but there are no PTOs, bonus, sick leaves and we can't overtime when there are too much work to do.

Review from Engineering Dept

Everything. Except there should be paid annual leaves. I.e. should be allowed to take 10-12 working days off without salary deduction.

Review from Engineering Dept

The pay that I receive

Review from Product Dept

It’s good in

Review from Product Dept

Compensation does not account inflation, so the salary remains static through the years if not by you triggering the conversation.

Review from Operations Dept

The rate itself is enough, for now.

Review from Operations Dept

Occasional paid leaves granted as perks

Review from Operations Dept

I am a contractor so this part doesn?

Review from Product Dept

Compensation is fair but no other benefits.

Review from Operations Dept

Paid Holidays and Promotions every year

Review from Operations Dept

Paid weekly and amount is fair

The fixed part of the compensation

Review from IT Dept

They negotiate with good workers

Review from Operations Dept

I do not have one

I work through Crossover as a contractor, so, this question is not applicable

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Better salary, Some Benefits, Paid vacation

Review from Operations Dept

I think the benefits question doesn't apply. We don't have any. About the compensation, I believe that maybe as a starting point as a test period is ok. However, after a few months, this pay amount doesn't hold on talents. Maybe $25~$30/h would make me feel better. I really like this position.

Review from IT Dept

Compensation is a little lower than market average. There are no benefits for contractors.

Review from Engineering Dept

I am a contractor with no paid leaves so paid leaves even if only limited would be great. Also the pay could be a bit more competitive but I understand the situation the product I am working for is now on. Also after my first promotion career path is no longer updated

Review from Engineering Dept

I'm a contractor so I have no benefits. I am also unsure about my goals for appraisal and raise.

Review from Product Dept

- Time tracking is terrible. And Manager never approves the timesheet, despite the work never getting delayed. - Resources provided to work (system) are just satisfactory. Cant help in improving efficiency.

Review from IT Dept

The amount of work being undertaken is enormous and thus an increase in pay would be appreciated.

Review from Engineering Dept

Lincrease hourly rate. Being in developing countries doesnt mean we deserve less

having 12 years of experiance, should get compensation of $50/hour

Review from IT Dept

Clearer career path and/or promotion guidelines. It has been way past the time that I should have been promoted and promised but somehow it gets too delayed by factors that should have been easy but most likely is too much bureaucracy in the executive side

Review from Engineering Dept

As a technical writer at Upland, I'm independently managing all aspects of a documentation team. With 8 years of experience, I feel the compensation is lesser.

The pay rate for Product Owner is below the standard what I should be getting given my 5+ years in Product Management and 16 years in IT industry

Review from Product Dept

The payment did not increase even after me completing almost an year, there are no incentives as such

Review from Engineering Dept

i am a person with high ambition

Review from Operations Dept

It will be good to increase billing rates for contracts working from long time instead of flat rate irrespective of good work done and long term association and flexibility shown

Review from IT Dept

Similar role elsewhere pays more.

Review from Product Dept

I have learned a lot about the project in the last few years, made and suggested many changes that are improving quality, performance, stability, readability... I know that my manager likes my job but I feel that I could make more doing the same job for another US or EU company.

Review from Engineering Dept

I would like my pay to be more in line with what my counterparts make

Review from Product Dept

Clearer goals to next position/promotion so that I can reach them within the allotted time and constant feedback for performance. Also more opportunities for contractors to reach the next level

Review from Engineering Dept

A 50% increase would be ideal. Paid days off is also ideal
