I have been here for 35+ years. The changes they are making, are not for the betterment of the staff.

I am surrounded by brilliant, kind, caring individuals, and it brings me much joy to work for an institution that is educating the doctors of tomorrow, innovating medicine and caring for the community. I wish UTHSA could focus more on staff retention because I've seen too many great people leave

They need to be on board with increasing the salaries of the staff employees. The staff are basically who keep the faculty where they need to be., The staff are not appreciated by most of the higher ups.

Employee focus. Has lost sight. Tunnel vision has blurred the big picture.

Hiring competent division leaders. Listening to (and caring about) employee concerns. Offering proactive solutions for demoralized and understaffed divisions. Offer clear paths for promotion and raises. Making employees feel valued. Current employee messaging is hugely tone-deaf.

Salary and medical insurance are the best!

The free healthcare for employees.

The medical and life insurance.

All.of it is great. No complaints.

It is comparable to other higher ed institutions, even better.

Flexibility to work remotely a couple of days a week.

I would feel better if I was paid more and if the benefits package was more comprehensive and included education discounts

A decent salary increase. A 1% for someone who has been at UT for over 35 years is not good. Especially when inflation is at 9%,

It makes me feel undervalued to get a great performance evaluation ("exceeds expectations") with a 2% increase. A fair salary that is appropriate to my experience and performance would make me feel better about my compensation.

when you work at an organization who is succeedin and yet not sharing that success with the employees -- that just doesn't feel right. 29m dollar positive margin and yet, no incentives, negative budgets, limited raises.

My team is knowledgeable, hard working and passionate about their work.

My co workers are some of my best friends. I feel I can trust and rely on my team for support in my personal and professional life.

My team are all friendly. I am not into socializing with them. My choice.

They are collaborative and eager to learn/contribute to the community goals.

Experience would be nice. Too many promoted quickly at a young age and ignorant on managing people.
