They reach out regularly to ask not just about work, but about work-life balance and personal happiness.
They have a clear vison and make an effort to be inclusive.
Manager is very understanding, caring, helpful and displays great leadership.
the leadership team has great communication and strives to assist us to make us great at what we do.
50% are open to ideas, competent and effective leaders. The remaining 50% seem to be overwhelmed or self-serving. So they are balancing out right now.
Clearer communication and transparence when it comes to let us know how they can help us as an employee.
Clear communication, implement achievable goals and set realistic timelines, listen to employee concerns and take appropriate action, respect the employees that have chosen to stick it out at UT during this rough patch, make priorities clear (everything always feels like an emergency).
Compensate employees based on current market
Communication, accountability/ transparency, best and latest best practices with businesses/healthcare/higher education, talent management, remaining competitive.
MAKE THE PAY ACTUALLY COMPETITIVE! PAY MORE THAN THE OTHERS, THE BENEFITS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO OFFSET. YOU PEOPLE SEEM TO THINK IT ISN"T ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. YES IT IS.
The benefits that come as part of the TRT.
everything although it would be nice if we received a bonus
Salary is not at the market rates, but is adequate when considered in light of an excellent PTO package, provided health care coverage, and decent options for supplemental benefits.
Medical benefits, retirement, dental and vision
I was happy to have received one.
Pay is very low compared to market value for almost every position.
I feel like compensation is lacking compared to other organization/companies. It is hard for this company to maintain attractive in the market to attract quality workers with low compensation. Having certifications & a masters degree just to earn the same as a retail worker with a diploma is not ok.
I joined the company after being sidelined in the workforce due to COVID 19. Accepted a more junior role but believe that my new manager did all he could to maximize my pay. UT Health is state run facility. Not on par with compensation from corporate America. If we could, higher caliber people...
Knowing what other organizations pay for our expertise and knowledge. It's very frustrating when I want to make UTH my preferred employer especially when I have invested so many years with UTH.
Compensation does not seem to be in line with similar positions/responsibilities in other organizations. In addition there aren't many additional benefits available to the organization.
My team has a great time in meetings. We accomplish what needs to be done and more, and have fun in the process.
Everyone is helpful, takes interest in each other's lives, and works hard.
very cooperative and helpful with all tasks
we all work great together
Creativity, passion, energy, invested in the mission.
My coworkers are overall great people, but everyone is so burnt out and bitter about being undervalued that no one enjoys working together anymore. We spend time together outside of work,, and it is great, but we are all different, unhappy people in the workplace. The UT culture has worn us down.
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ANND STOP PASSING THE BUCK.
My company clearly values the well-being of employees.
The culture is built around helping people and the community.
very respectful and team orientated
The people invested in the mission of education, research, community engagement.
Clinical Division technology footprint is expanding. It is pedal to the metal work wise. I have had limited interactions with UT Health personnel but those whom I have met are open and courteous
1. PAY A COMPETITIVE WAGE 2. Compensate for remote workers equipment and internet. 3. Lead. Try being leaders. 4. BE PROACTIVE, not REACTIVE.
Some sort of a sign that something is actually being done. We barely even hear talk that moves are being made to remedy our staffing problems. We are about to open a hospital, and we can barely run just an outpatient clinic presently.

The small positive interactions with coworkers.
Great coworkers and new challenges at work every day.
very good culture and quality work being done
the people I work with
When we are given the respect for our role and freedom to perform, we can make other teams successful in their execution of the mission.
Significantly better compensation lining up with industry standards (I can make 35% more working at Christus in the same position). Overall a major culture shift from leadership showing respect, support, clear communication, and realistic expectations. Hire more staff ASAP.
PAY - PAY MUCH MORE
Medical benefits are horrible. What I pay for insurance for my family and the out-of-pocket expenses are way too high. Someday soon, someone will avoid going to the hospital in a life-or-death situation because they are concerned about the bills and not realize the seriousness of their illness.
Lack of resources for the amount of work. Working the job of two people.
Our patients are constantly frustrated with interactions with our clinics. I come in every day to no direction, no leadership, substandard pay, and a constant fear about what tone deaf edict is going to come down from on high and further contaminate an already toxic workplace.
