Communication and setting clear expectations.
Communication ,training and treating employees properly.
Review from Operations Dept
Communication is key in life to everything
Appreciate good employees and not let their position get to their head and use it as a power trip.
They just have too much to juggle to really advocate for us
Totally undervalued. Housekeepers get paid minimum wage.
Review from Operations Dept
Employee turnover is high. Vacasa does not provide promotions, they hire from outside the company. Great housekeepers go beyond expectations and take on extra responsibilities. In order to keep experienced and efficient employees, there should be some form of pay increase or advancement opportunity.
I dont even know if im supposed to get benefits and if i am i have no idea how to apply for them. My supervisor isnt helpful. I drive an hour to and from work and evtra time in between and havent got paid for any of it
I have no benefits except 401k
Because of system glitch i was not paid for a day and the manager would not help me retrieve it
meeting are irrelevant and ineffective
By making the next person on shifts life easier, not harder
Review from Operations Dept
Better job cleaning, and more helpful in the office with laundry
Communication skills is a must
If you are not Spanish speaking, primary language. you will be harrassed.
Review from Operations Dept
A new housekeeping manager and new assistant housekeeping manager
Communicate the outlook for the company and its future. Coast of living adjustments.
It seems to me that many work laws are being disregarded and abused and the good employees that do their job and don't complain are getting taken advantage of until their ran away from a good place to work at.
Tools and Support to secede.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Believe your employees when they say there being abused
at will work force yes
The interview process seems to halt at some point every time. I know many people who have just been ghosted. Even people who have a good interview hear nothing back. I have applied for multiple other positions within the company and have had to chase down the rejections with no explanation given.
Review from Operations Dept
It depends on who does the interviewing. Some if the managers on the Sales team seem to have implicit bias
Let individuals know more really about the job and hours required to work during busy season
Very unorganized on a local office level
Review from Operations Dept
customers say that the houses are not maintained and there is no support for issues
Get some honest managers to run the company
Review from Operations Dept
The company is too money hungry and greedy. Owners see our fees are sometimes higher than the total rent. Owners get charged a markup for cleaning after they stay in their own home. Guests are sometimes misled about the home they rent - the recruiters will onboard any old shack falling apart
Vacasa seems to prioritize their customers over their employees. However, they should adjust their business model to prioritize, support and diversify their operations team. If the employees who interact hands-on with customers feel that they are treated well, they will provide better service.
Real cleaning time can cost me my job.
Clearer alignment and connection with the company mission, vision and core values; they're very good, but not fully integrated into the culture yet.
Employee onboarding, management structure, more stability
