Try speaking with someone other than a manager for an opinion. Try two get both sides to a story before you form an opinion. A plethora of other things that one should not need to tell leadership and yet here we are.
Focus on retention through more transparency of the position, necessities of what will be required, and a structured training with documentation to refer to in order to avoid arguments in front of the customer by seasoned employees and supervisors.

Leadership does not communicate with their general population of employees. They keep themselves isolated and locked behind closed doors. If you see them in hallway, they do their best to not look at you to avoid starting a conversation . It's so awkward.
