What do you like best about the leadership team?

they think differently from majority of companies, money does not come first

They really care. If there is an issue, it really is an open door policy and they will listen and work to fix or improve things.

Super intelligent and down to earth

Leadership team is accessible. They do a good job of communicating with the broader company. They keep employee success top of mind. I also appreciate the fiscal diligence that has allowed Veeva to operate and continue to have success without mass layoffs.

They do whatever it takes to make money, regardless of if it's good for the customers.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Managers should be anonymously evaluated twice a year by every employee they manage. There should be anonymous surveys done by a third party company so that employees can express their concerns and situations can be resolved before it's too late.

Communicate and stop avoiding questions. Be clear about your intentions. Tell us why youre doing things this way and how it should benefit the company forward. Open paths for people to work in teams based in other regions.

The CEO is extremely temperamental and the leadership team lives in fear of him. Certain employees have targets on their backs seemingly because the CEO simply doesn't like them. Other employees get nonstop opportunities & promos because he "sees himself in them" (almost always young men).
