Velex Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I am currently a contractor at the company and as such I do not get any benefits, but I hear from my colleagues, that they are great benefits, and dealing with some of my workforce and helping them with their benefit needs I can see they get a good level of service.

Review from Operations Dept

My over all base salary.

Review from Operations Dept

the life insurance package is very fair and think is some of the best around that im aware of.

Review from Product Dept

Vision and dental insurance. Also per diem

Review from Operations Dept

Pay is at a competive rate

Review from Operations Dept

The best part of my compensation package is that overtime is paid

Fair compensation and opportunities to grow

Review from Operations Dept

The benefits package is good! 401k, health benefits are wonderful to have.

Review from HR Dept

I don't use it, use my Military benefits

Review from Operations Dept

The benefits are outstanding and per diem is awesome

Review from Communications Dept

Haven't really had the chance to use any of my benefits yet.

Review from Communications Dept

The best part is that when we are out of state or a certain amount of miles away from office/warehouse we get per diem to cover hotel and food expenses.

Review from Product Dept

The 401k, health insurance and pto.

Review from Operations Dept

that its something that i can work for, and strive to hit all my marks and bonus programs

Review from Operations Dept

TIP and OIP payments are very nice

Review from Operations Dept

I think it is very competitive

We are paid weekly and get excellent benefits!

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

i feel singled out by my manager and i feel he discriminates against me. i have done a lot for the market and it is not seen or appreciated.

Review from Operations Dept

Pay me for the value I bring to the table with my experience VS trying to keep me in line with pay for a position amongst people with the same title but significantly less experience/knowledge.

Review from Operations Dept

I believe that I have brought a lot of change to any division I am put in. I have set the bars in every division I work. I work hard and try to be the best manager to the crew and managers. I believe I spread my field knowledge and experience to anyone who ask.

sometimes. i am in a smaller market so because we do not have the same volume of work i often feel overlooked.

Review from Operations Dept

Doing work for others that consistently shut down at a certain time, not facilitating those that are still working.

Review from Operations Dept

The amount of work that is managed is unbalanced. Currently feel understaffed.

Review from Operations Dept

Arizona inflation has grown so exponentially that the current wage scale does not reflect the current economy. Especially for us local CSs

Review from Operations Dept

There are some aspects and responsibilities that are out of the scope of the position or should require more training or experience. That is not to say I am not meeting or exceeding at those task/responsibilities, but it should be meet with equal compensation.

Review from Product Dept

The market I live in is not affordable to live at current wages. I've a del taco and Starbucks with higher starting wage and better benefits. We have a much more dangerous and harder job. Probably why I see such a high turnaround of employees.

All the responsibilities and items I have under me, compared to the amount of accountability and ownership from the other teams.

Review from Operations Dept

i have been promised many things by my previous director but with new director all of that changed and denied everything i was told i would get from my previous director and HR

Review from Operations Dept

When comparing expectations of Velex employees to other employees under Infiniux the main work load falls on us. When others are off on weekends we are expected to continue working and answer for those that are off. When we're in a push its Velex that has to deliver.

Review from Operations Dept

I believe when you are working in a high risk job that is sometimes compounded with extreme weather conditions. We are away from our families and homes usually home on average eight days a month .

Review from Communications Dept

I would like a raise. nothing massive is needed but a cost of living annual increase should happen.

Review from Operations Dept

Creating growth for your peers and your team is pivotal in personal growth. If providing that opportunity is consistently taken away, you become less of an employee and more of a barcode.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation reflecting the actual time an effort put into the job. Equal to others in the same position. If you provide a bonus incentive for somebody it should be provided to all individuals in that position.

Review from Operations Dept

At times , we can be stretched to take on roles and responsibilities outside of our General Duties. Work hours can go into 14-15 hour days , and on salary I see "burn out " with some individuals. I personally understand that we need to extend our expertise across organizational lines.

Review from Operations Dept

Salary compared to market value, stagnate wages while cost of living and inflation rises, reviews and raises do not happen, no company MOP regarding wages so completely up to deparment/manager. work/life balance does not correlate in wage

Review from Operations Dept

Not at all . We are all a family and represent the brand together

I don't feel undervalued but I believe I should be paid accordingly for the hours that I work, even though I am salary. There should be an upped compensation
