Our Executive team are smart, accessible, well-aligned and focused on getting the best outcomes for the company.
The Exec. team are engaged and accessible. They have a clear vision and are aligned in delivering it.
Not afraid to tackle the hard challenges. Transparent and willing to listen to each and every person in the organization. Most importantly, honest and transparent.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Rather than making a stable product they try to just offer new products. They could care less about quality and just want to impress the board.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Pay is above market value for some remote workers.
Good overall compensation and benefits package. Corporate bonis has been paid out >100% in the two years i have been with the company.

Veracode offers a wide range of benefits and seeks to be inclusive in its offer. The option to choose remote, in office or hybrid is progressive and welcome.
The benefits are pretty good - no complaints!
Paid fairly and at market rate.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Existing employees do not get paid well and raises are very low. Nothing is being done to bring employee wages to market level.
Unless you're friends with the manager and director you are paid well below market rate.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I am lucky to have great team mates that share an interest in problem solving.
There is good work life balance. Low pressure.
Really switched on people, enthusiastic about making Veracode as good as it can be

Veracoders are super-smart, driven, collaborative, and good fun.
My team is really aligned and very supportive. We get things done together and our deliverables are better because we collaborate and support each other. They are also all very smart, hard-working, and fun. No one slacks off and everyone wants to do a great job.

Lots of opportunity to meet manager and co-workers in unstructured conversations.
The ability to really connect with the people I would be working with.
My interview process was thorough.
It was a long time ago, but I liked that I met with people from around the company not just my department. it gave me a full view of the company and demonstrated that they really care about the type of person they bring onto the team.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Let the engineering team's get to have at least some say in who is hired. Not all of Veracode uses Java so hiring Java engineers does not help.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love writing code so much.
Colleagues and flexibility. Being trusted to just get on with it
