Kenneth Thompson Esq. — Executive VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Verisk Analytics

Mr. Kenneth E. Thompson, Esq., has been an Executive Vice President at Verisk Analytics, Inc. ( previously known as, Insurance Services Offices Inc.) since March 2011 and has been its Corporate Secretary and General Counsel since 2006. Mr. Thompson served as a Senior Vice President at Verisk Analytics, Inc. since 2006 until March 2011. He served as a Partner of McCarter & English, LLP from 1997 to September 2006 and also served as its Chairman of Corporate and Securities Law Department. From 1997 to 2006, Mr. Thompson served as primary outside counsel to Measurement Specialties. He has managed a number of major mergers and acquisitions outside the property/casualty arena. Mr. Thompson has also advised public companies on their securities law responsibilities (including those under Sarbanes-Oxley) and on the implementation of various antitakeover defensive strategies. From 2000 to 2004, he taught mergers and acquisitions at Seton Hall Law School, where he was an Adjunct Professor of law. Mr. Thompson served as Director of Measurement Specialties Inc. from November 10, 2006 to October 9, 2014. Mr. Thompson received a BA in Political Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he graduated cum laude in 1981 and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1984.
