They don't really happen, but we had one once, and it was communicated with each person, individually, and then each team member that wasn't laid off, which was cool.

Some of the Engineers acted like the cool kids and didn't want to be helpful unless you made it into their inner circle, but others were wonderful and easy to work with on a regular basis.

BBQs, casual, management cooks, the CEO cooks dinner for teams, individual teams go out to eat regularly, very fun and warm and casual.

One of the best parts of Verisys is that we have people from every age, every race, gender, etc, and not just as tokens. We have as many men as we do women in leadership, as well as age ranges and races. Verisys is a meritocracy. If you work hard, do well, you get promoted. No other factors are considered and I love that.
