ViacomCBS Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The salary is paid to market.

It's on the way to me

At or above what others companies pay.

The vacation policy is nice.

Medical, dental, mental health thats enough

It's fair and inclusive. Nice to have a bonus!

Review from Communications Dept

Working from home is cool

Salary above other media companies.

Above-average salary. Many perks. Free streaming services.

We have a great vacation time policy.

Review from Communications Dept

My beneits are very good.

Review from Finance Dept

Summer Fridays. I can come in late or leave early if necessary - the work matters most.

Review from Operations Dept

Medical, dental insurance, paid time of, vacations, sick, and holidays

Review from Finance Dept

vacations and the little details

Review from Engineering Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If the company paid market rate.

The salaries here are nortoriously lower than our competitors

I would feel better if they company would give some raises to ALL the emp[olyees who made it to work during the pandemic. Most of us never missed away. No extra on our base pay? This is a terrible way to treat people. Yes,, I did get a 3% raise late last year but nothing the year prior.

They paid poorly and their paying standard is very poor

I've been doing work way above. my pay grade for far too long.

Please treat CBS employee with respect and stop discrimination.

Review from Finance Dept

I work overtime for no pay, yet am hassled if I am a few minutes late to work

Average salary is too low when compared to the market compensation.

I deserve more $$$ and more stock

Promotion. I am working well above my current level, long overdue for a level up but only males (older white males except one) get promoted or hired to SVP or EVP over the past 8+ years in my company-functional area, so there seems little hope of advancement within the company.

Treated like second class citizen

Because I'm drowning in tasks and doing my best to finish everything on time and with the most positive results while there's no chance for promotion (team structure) and I didn't get any raise since the beginning, even though it's already my 3rd contract.

Review from Operations Dept

My director does not believe in appreciation by bonuses and salary raise

Review from Operations Dept

We're all just numbers in the company. No sense of appreciation for the hard workers

Review from Engineering Dept

This company does not value hard work or innovation and has no respect for it's employees or their process, regardless of how successful. It's doesn't seem to matter how hard you work. In fact, you don't even have to do ANY work as long as you make the right friends. It's a real shame.

Review from Operations Dept

Executive pay is inconsistent from what division to the next, one department to the next

Review from Marketing Dept

Scared environment so everyone acts badly.

They frequently keep people as contractors that should rightfully be hired on as employees.
