i like that its to the point
I liked that the interview was a good experience, and they were nice.
It was simple, spoke about myself, asked a few questions in regards of what the work load and translated a paragraph from English to Spanish and as I was leaving the interview and walking to my car, I got a call offering me the job.
The open conversations and the tests
No nonsense, considerate and communicative.
I liked that the interviewers were not intimidating, although I was nervous. The interviewers sensed that and helped to reassure me. It is not a drawn out process and generally the response time is fast. It is also fair and as someone who has interviewed we do try to focus on seeing the positives.
There are multiple rounds with people from different departments so you have plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
Got to visit with many stakeholders and get a feel for if it would be a good fit for me first which is important.
Intentionality and strategic thoughtfulness throughout process.
My interview process involved 4-5 steps, several onsite meetings, multiple aptitude tests, etc. While this is probably atypical and not required for every position, I viewed it as the company was intentional and thoughtful, and this reaffirmed my desire to join Walker.
The transparency and honesty with which the team approached the interview process was refreshing, It was also great to meet so many of my future co-workers to really understand what I was getting myself into!
Meeting with various leaders of the organization.
That the interviewers took an interest in me as a human being
Had the chance to meet the team for a panel interview.
It went quickly and I was able to meet with my future teammates and they all echoed the same statements.
Transparency throughout the interview process
