There is a caste system. Both doctors and nurses treat co-workers that they deem beneath them like trash and will talk down to you as if they are entitled to. There is no actual sick time, they will take it from your PTO, unless you are out for 3 or more days.

The patient. It's nice meeting different people. Rooting for them to get better and be healthy.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They remain in a happy mood all day, straight through a 13hr shift. We vent to each other and look forward to working with each other. They will help if you look swamped.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Why am I doing the work of 2 people when we are short staff? If you paid a fair wage the turnover rate would drastically drop. Money talks, everything else can walk. Communication is key! I can't keep repeating that I am running into the same issues when management won't listen or pretends to listen
