Mr. Robert D. Wright, also known as Bob, has been Chief Operating Officer of The Wendy's Company since May 2016 and has been its Executive Vice President of International since December 2014. Mr. Wright joined The Wendy's Company in December 2013 and served as its Chief Operating Officer from March 2014 to December 2014 and from December 2014 to May 2016. He served as the Chief Operating Officer at Wendy's International, LLC (alternate name, Wendy's International, Inc.). He served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer for Charley's Grilled Subs from December 2010 to December 2013. Mr. Wright served as an Executive Vice President of Company and Franchise Operations for Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. from January 2008 to August 2010. He served as the President of Cafe Express LLC, a subsidiary of Wendy's International, LLC from April 2005 to 2006. He was a nine-year veteran of the Wendy's system and has a proven track record of success in restaurant operations. He served as Franchise Area Director for Wendy's International, LLC from 1998 to 2000 and its Director of Area Operations from 2000 to 2005. During his tenure with Wendy's, Mr. Wright served in a multitude of leadership positions, including Vice President of Operations and Training Integration from 2006 to 2008. He was a former Domino's franchisee. He worked for Domino's Pizza in a number of roles, including Senior Franchise Consultant from 1993 to 1998, Corporate Operations Director and Regional Training Director. Mr. Wright earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Le Tourneau University.
