Executive Bio
Mr. Takeshi Tanazawa has been Senior Vice President and Chief Coordination Officer at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC since April 1, 2012. Mr. Tanazawa served as Acting Chief Coordination Officer at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC from July 1, 2011 to April 1, 2012. Mr. Tanazawa is responsible for coordination between Westinghouse and Toshiba to identify and realize synergy opportunities and to help expand Westinghouse business around the globe. He is also Chief Specialist of the Westinghouse Coordination Division for Toshiba Corporation Power Systems Company. He served as Vice President and Coordination Officer for Westinghouse Nuclear Services since December 2006 and also for Westinghouse Nuclear Automation since June 2010. He has 30 years of diverse experience in laser application research, government-sponsored large project management and general strategic planning for the nuclear industry within Toshiba Corporation. He also has served as a Project Leader for construction of the Taiwan Lungmen ABWR project. Mr. Tanazawa received a bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from Nagoya University in 1980.
