The hotel where i work is being destroyed from the inside by inept management. There is blatant harassment of employees on a daily basis with no one to complain to as they all take each others sides. When employees feel unsafe we are told to just get over it. There is so much more than 300 words

Fire the incompetent GM. Promote from within

The managers that interviewed me were wonderful. Unfortunately they left the company as has 90% of the staff
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Very little. A couple of us make each otger laugh to dull the pain of the worst working environment we've collectively ever experienced
What are some of the best things about your team?
For the most part the staff is excellent and we get along great. The issue is the manager. Or lack there of. In nearly a tear, we have never had one meeting
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A higher wage. Incentive bonuses. Better health benefits. The ability to grow within the hotel and climb a ladder rather than training the next supervisor that should have been one of is
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The "GM" needs to be fired outright for harassment. The rest need to stop playing favourites to said manager. They need to start promoting from within rather than posting jobs online and expecting the people that have worked hard to stay at the bottom
