If you have no life outside of work, fantastic. If you have a family, let them know they probably won't see you much, until you die, quit or get canned.

They say they do...as replacements for your job. Consistent quote many have heard "remember - we have people overseas that will be willing to do double your hours at one tenth your pay, and they'll be happy about it"
How does XYZ.com make decisions around promotions?
Most of the time the only way one gets promoted is by being "noticed" by somebody that is management. As they say - above and beyond the call of duty. Favoritism, nepotism and kissing a whole lot of ass - letting others take credit for your work is the only way here.
How's the vacation policy at XYZ.com?
Horrible. You might schedule for your vacation, and it can be cancelled by anybody, for whatever reason. Unused vacation cannot be carried over from year to year under any circumstance - use it or lose it, so more often than not, unless you are part of senior management, you will lose your vacation days every year you work here. They kind of allude to that fact during the interview and hiring process, by using phrases such as "are you available for work 24/7/365 - as everybody here is always on call" but you don't realize what this might mean until you've been here.
